Our mission is promotion of hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Especially important is the encouragement of youth who are the future of these activities. We are proud to partner with 4-H, NRA, 4th district league of Kentucky sportsmen, Armed Women of American (The Well Armed Woman) and the Kentucky Hunter Safety (orange card) programs.
The club owns and manages the acres at the Adair County Sportsman Club property located at 7200 Fairplay Road, Columbia KY 42728. Besides shooting ranges, members also benefit from hiking trails, small and large game hunting opportunities, managed wildlife fields and wooded areas, bird and wildlife observation, outdoor photography opportunities and much more! In short, we are very proud of our unique property in South Central Kentucky.
Competitive Matches
Competitive matches are held on designated days. Club membership for participation is not required, but encouraged. Membership in the sanctioning organization is required for participation and may be purchased at matches. (Note: Some or all shooting ranges may be closed during scheduled matches.) Non-sanctioned events include rifle matches, black powder events and archery tournaments.
Regular Monthly Meetings are conducted on the 1st Tuesday of each month beginning 5pm CT at the Club grounds.
Front Gate
Front Gate
Use your gate card/code to access the property when the entrance gate is closed. Members will assure the gate immediately shuts after entry or exit. The front gate is to be shut and locked unless an AWCC scheduled public event or match is in progress. In the event a member has issues with the gate, please contact the Club President or Board Chairman so that we can assure promptness on resolving the matter. A member shall not share or give their gate card/code to any one else. You are responsible for your own card/code!

No paper application is available, if you pay in person via check/cash, you must still complete the online application.
Membership is $75 annually (Jan 1 to Dec 31).
Your paid family membership includes the use of club shooting lanes (building and restrooms when club sponsored events occuring) by your spouse, and all immediate family members under the age of 18. Separate memberships are required for all other adult family members. Primary members may use all facilities with a maximum of two (2), invited, non-member guests. This guest limit shall not apply to Military Service Personnel on leave from active duty service.
